He watched Fili bandaging his hand with just one thought pumping in his mind "How he didn't even notice that his brother was hurt?" The wound wasn't serious at all, but it somehow made Kili feel nervous.
"What bothers you?"
Kili startled, he didn't see that Fili was looking at him for some time.
"Just tried to recall that fight with orcs"
"It just a mere scratch, you don't need to worry"
Kili smiled, it seemed that his brother had read his thoughts.
"I know it's nothing, but I should have noticed"
"You had plenty of other things to think about"
"It's just..." he paused then smiled, "Never mind"
For some time they sat silently watching the fire. Then Kili suddenly broke the silence.
"You are not gonna die, are you?"
"What? From this scratch?" Fili turned to his brother with laugh, but then he met his gaze and cut it off.
"Just... you are not gonna die?"
"No. Of course, not."
